I ordered this for our dining nook, it fits perfect. I was surprised by how well made this unit is all wood. There was a slight smell of Stained wood when I opened the box but it has since dissapated. It was very simple to put together and my husband who is 6'7" loves to sit and read or sit and eat at this little table. We are empty nesters and love sitting at this little table for a meal, it's kind of romantic in a way. I would highly recommend this unit to anyone who needs the perfect small wood table. It is about the size of a normal fold out card table. The chairs are quite comfortable which seeing as they are not upolstered I thought they would be really uncomfortable but they are not, they are very comfortable. This is just a very well made nice set and for the money I am pleased with this product. I would not hesitate to order from this company again.
